Desc: The Left Field: Live at the Wagner: Directed by Zach Kempf. With James Lawrence II Archibald, Abi Harrison, Stephen Jones, Bryson Kearl. Seven young stand-up comedians who have written and performed together for over four years, and who just happen to all be mormons - it doesn't exactly fit the mold, does it? So, instead of making their foray into the comedy world in the conventional way, they took a page from their shared experience writing and performing together in College, and decided to buck tradition and approach their craft as what can best be described as the first 'Indy band' of stand-up comedy. Fittingly, they called themselves The Left Field, and their first concert film, Live At The Wagner serves as their introduction to the world. Filmed in front of a packed house of 2500 enthusiastic fans, and reflecting a new and young aesthetic approach to the genre, THE LEFT FIELD: LIVE AT THE WAGNER will give anyone who sees it a reason to laugh, and to think about Stand-up comedy, and about mormons, in new and surprising ways.
